Overview
The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL) is hosting the Broadband Forum’s PON plugfest for XGS-PON, 25GS-PON, and HS-PON (50G PON) during the week of October 6-10, 2025. Participants MUST register to participate. The plugfest is an in-person event and you must be a Broadband Forum member to participate.
Who Should Attend
The plugfest is open to vendors, implementers, and development teams focused on solutions, such as:
- OLT and ONU Equipment
- PON Chipsets and Software Stack vendors
- RG Devices directly incorporating a PON interface
- Test & Measurement equipment vendors, such as PON sniffers, PON emulators, and traffic generators

Register for the plugfest:
The UNH-IOL and Broadband Forum are distinct organizations. The UNH-IOL is hosting this event on behalf of the Broadband Forum. The plugfest is open to all members of the Broadband Forum who are in good standing (membership dues are paid) within the forum.
A $4,500 USD plugfest registration fee applies to this event. You will be invoiced for the registration fee following submission of the registration form below. This fee is per company. There are no additional fees per attendee.
This registration fee is waived for current members of the UNH-IOL’s PON testing service.
All companies participating in the plugfest must complete the registration form below. A completed registration form, submitted prior to the event, will be the only means for access to the Plugfest facility. The registration form must be submitted prior to the Plugfest. Please use the online registration form to register all attendees. The maximum number of attendees per company is 4.

Failure to register before the deadline will result in a $500 late fee.
Non-Disclosure Agreement
A Non-Disclosure Agreement must be signed by all participating companies, and must be on file prior to participation in the Plugfest. NDAs must be completed by September 19, 2025. All participating companies sign the same NDA text. No edits or changes to the text are accepted.
